Nice racing from the Smelly T today - thoughts:

R1: Lots of money for the first timer Stormy Gold, hard to know how good he is - but Wyatt West may have to settle fro 2nd again?
R2: Another first timer Global Gold is the fav, but purely on breeding, I think he may need more gorund, so if Chad Little can keep Western Way balanced, he should be the right one imo
R3: Dance Alley impossible to oppose
R4: Novice plate - but not that straightforward imo - Vivacious Star probably did not enjoy the blinkers last time - so maybe worth another chance - Bonny Blue improved in blinkers and could be better than rated, Markofdistionction best in according to official ratings, so can't be ignored either - I also think all of Kittiefi, She's a Lady and All in the Mind have better chances than refelcted by their odds
R5: Galanthus the obvious one, but he has proved inconsistent in the past, so I would not fall off my chair if he runs unplaced, Titano at best over this trip and is a definite inclusion for me in the PA at least, all of the others (bar Power Lord) especially Tara's Son (at best this trip) warrants consideration as well
R6: Frontino Gold best in on official ratings, but seems to be drifting in the betting, Amatol struggling to win but the worst he has finished in his last 12 runs was 5th, so a PA inclusion for me, not much between Eurosilver and General Sherman - those 4 stand out imo
R7: Very interesting handicap - if the de Kock coupling get beat, it should be a nice payout in the P6 and JP - consider Greylami and Formation, who both come in here well if reproducing their sand form - Hot Tip something of a revelation recently and tries hard, so can not be ignored
R8: Bamako looks the right one, but the Marwing coupling needs to be onculded in the P6 with Ice Trigger
R9: Very open - Money Flows, and de Kock at least

Enjoy (tu)

I must say ,I decided, that from the right draw, WWest was the bet of the week-end.............imagine my language when v d Merwe races as wide as if he had been drawn 12. I may have had to get in my car and gone to Turfies to have words with him.............lol

lol... well done Rob (tu) and to all the Wyatt West "groupies" ;) Fortunately sold all my bets on SG on betfair so a no lose and then had a small bet on Wyatt West to beat Memeza and small place on the latter so all's well that ends well :)
Think I would prefer to hear an interview with SG's connections, dreadful show for that much cash laid out

SG messing around at the start, green during the race.
Unless you have a real good one and your not going around a bend,i wouldnt touch
a 1st timer. Western way in next..Now watch the egg slide off my face as Global Strike hacks up..

Agree Dave, would not have taken on the 1st timer on the outside straight course.
Lets face it .MdK is not the norm!

hahaha - Dave I had the chance to take 9/2 and 17/2 on it, what was I meant to do? 8-) Western Way for me too, GS to be unplaced... couldn't leave you to take the egg splatter on your own... :) Money for Lamotta
