No Super Rugby final for South Africa

Unless the Lions/Cheetahs have improved beyond reality we will battle on tour - the Stormers are poor and are touted as our best hope )they played poorly against the worst team in NZ) - We will be thrashed on tour unless there is a miracle - I think a NZ final

Stormers maybe be poor but a win is a win. Thats a bit pessimistic of you thinking that no SA side has a chance. The Reds will challange again and the only Kiwi side imo that could win it is the Crusaders. The Sharks and The Stormers must have big chance of getting into the top 4.

There were no stand out game this week-end....Sharks look's the same as the side beaten by the Loins in the CC final...Stormers very thin on reserves.....Lions continueing the winning culture.....Cheetahs.....fu^k nose.....think the Bulls could be the surprise package

Crusaders. When Richie & Dan comes back, eish, they are just awesome. Just never gives up.

Stormers won.t make it. They have talent galore, BUT a K*K system (politics) Look at their reserve prop on Saturday, useless, they have fantastic locks, loosies, etc but no depth in no.s 1 , 2 , 3....9 & 10 also a problem

Wish they will allow Stellenbosch to reprecent/ play in Boland. Also the Paarl & Stellenbosch schools to represent Boland, then WP will be a gonner

They always said that if the Maties were on fire then WP were and in turn the Springboks were. Seems its still like that these days.

The Blues are race over and SA's best will be Shaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarks

After 1 match it is a little early to say who will be contenders and who won't be but we can all speculate.

My speculation, I recon each conference will be represented by 2 teams in the playoff. The NZ conference by Blues and Crusaders, there had to be a winner in their clash but neither team will lose too many going forward. The Aussie conference the same Reds and Tahs will dominate the other teams in their half hald with only the Rebels having a chance of taking points off the top 2. The SA conference is very competitive and any two of the Stormers, Bulls or Sharks can qualify for the playoffs.

There are going to be some great local derbies again this weekend with the Chiefs / Blues, Stormers / Sharks, Cheetahs / Bulls and Highlanders / Crusaders. Some more quality rugby to come our way and hopefully teams will now be finding form now.

Blue Bulls

It is still early season 1st game come on give the boys a gap even the refs were a bit rusty I think we will have at least 2 teams in the top 6 Bulls and ??

i'm not knocking the local teams just my observations for having a bet moose - I stand by what i saw - i think the Tars are also a team that could well be thumped
