I'm sorry to say but stars and stripes seems to be a dut. Not sure how commentators could say he improved since last run (before today). based on what?

The nice thing about Sundays is there's often Borrowdale to recoup Durbanville's losses! ;)

That objection outcome is a @#$%%^#$#@@ joke! Ban the jock but why change the result? It happened at the 600m mark and they reckon for sure the 2nd horse would have beaten the winner?

Can they do that....the winner never impeded the 2nd horse but did knock an unplaced horse.....which blocked the fav and the runner
up and other horses....normaly refered to as obstruction.... but is it grounds for objection....what are the new rules....as in the old rules they could have totally disqualified the winner and placed him last....:S

2nd horse is nearly brought down and gets beat a head. I can live with that decision.

Was not the 2nd horse that nearly went down but the 7 horse and the runner up was behind the 7 horse as was the 10....:S

Me too.... but I do understand Muhti's point...was sort of 2nd hand ... and for the record I backed the 'losing' winner.
