you probably would've been the first one congratulating the "insider" if it did come in the 1st three positions :S
i think the comment from gregbucks was meant in general and not specifically to what this insider posted.

no way! i just 100% agree with gregbucks, be careful, make your own mind. i am always very thankful for ANY kind of information, even if not "right"
the best bet of the day of mr. goodman also failed totally
this will be a FUNNY DAY! but a good for everyone who makes his own mind!

if the second race is anything to go by then big payouts should be expected this afternoon.

I also have learned the hard way when I used to base my selections on the comments of someone else. At the end of the day we responsible or our own choices.
I'm considering not betting this afternoon as race 1 and 2 delivered some bigger payouts than expected with the more favourite horses not featuring and my favourite jockey not riding A Marcus

Absolutely Crystal, I was not having a go at anyone who posts there info or how they/trainer expect there horses to run, we all appreciate these people sharing we us.... My only reservation (and I have seen this plenty times) is when trainers say to a owner their horse will win, the trainer has not taken into consideration the opposition..etc (have they studied the form??)... I think owners take this as ''cast in stone'' and back their horse blindly...
That's why I do not follow info unless i have studied the card and fancy the horse(s) myself....

You basically took the words out of my mouth. I feel for those owners for the same reason you mentioned.
With regards to racing today at Clairwood I get frustrated when racing starts like it did today with the more favourite horses not featuring meaning that other races will probably follow the same trendand form will mean jack shoot when selecting a good sort on paper

No naps for me today so what else do we have?
Race 6, King's Pact - GREYSTONE CHAPEL; a pacy filly; easy and impressive in her last start beating the runner-up Little Princess (in this race) who was a subsequent winner since; hot Marcus rides and in-form Bosch trains; for me 28/10 looks fair
Race 7, Sentinel - 1st choice is for Reign As Kings but for me the current price is very expensive; so CAPTAIN DINO; ran green when not too far off in a classy feature; in-form Drier trains; any price better than 4's
Race 9, Conditions - a dutch treat of ANTIOUS & WISHFUL EYE (the reigning record holder over this course and distance); a current and derived dutch price of 2.66/1 looks fair to me.
Don't forget the R227k carryover on the last race
Happy punting..

the next 100% failed! what a day!
i saved a lot of money, took only a small bet on lord leigh today. yippeah!
the best days are when you save your money and none of your horses are arriving. because you can wait for the days, they arrive..
