GMTGL was super impressive imo in his debut run on the Highveld - very hard to beat; it's also not for certain that the going will be soft - and even if it does turn out soft, he ran 3rd behind Potala Palace in the Champion Stakes from a wide draw in 'very soft' going (and I think he has improved a lot since then) - the distance is not a concern either - 3rd in the Met over 2000 behind Igugu at unfavorable weight terms imo - draw probably the biggest concern - but he has early speed, so not impossible to overcome that (and he has Striker).
Anything around 2/1 seems very good value to me.
If he fails, the race is wide open - how Slumdogmillionaire can be 4/1 while Golden Chateau and Brooks Club are at 20/1 and 14/1 does not make sense to me.
The Fillies Classic much more open, Ilha Bela looks the right one, but does not have the best of draws, I think both Control Freak and Go Indigo have stamina doubts, so Bluroute, Katy's Lane and Kalami (ran on well from a 16 draw in the Fillies Guineas) come in with chances imo - Bambino Stripes is yet to be tested at this level but could feature and Uptothemoon definitely better than her last run, but may have some stamina doubts as well
