It is incredibly difficult to get a ticket to the hallowed course. Enjoy Barry!

Really feel for Ernie, his game has really turned the corner of late and has come so close so many times to winning the green jacket. To think that Ryo Ishikawa got an invite as well this year and is below Ernie in the rankings, it doesn't seem right to me. The same goes for Retief.

South Africa have contributed much to the Masters over the years and with Charl the defending champion they should have given Ernie and Retief an invite this year.

From a winning point of view obviously Tiger should be in the mix as always. I was bullish on Tiger a couple of months ago but I think his short game has been left behind as his long game has progressed. His putting has been especially poor and around Augusta if your short game is off slightly you're finished. He hasn't won this since 05 so I wouldn't rush to take the 5-1 currently on offer.

All the big boys are in form at the moment so you pays your money and take your choice. There's usually an outsider in the hunt so it's always fun looking for a darkhorse at generous odds.

Brandt Snedeker has done well at the Masters before and is having a really good year, 90-1 could be value there. Big hitting Bubba Watson has been in good form and at 55-1 could be worth a few bob. Look for Louis Oosthuizen to play well at 80-1. Europeans have traditionally done well and at a nice price of 75-1 Sergio Garcia might be a decent outsider, although he has been flattering to deceive of late.

I'm going to be glued to the coverage for 4 days!

Apparently conditions are soft which means greens are slower and approach shots are holding the greens. There's more margin for error which brings more of the field into the equation.

The best thing for me about this year's Masters is it is over the Easter weekend so I can watch every day's play until completion and not worry about work the next day. (tu)

So I guess I should have mentioned....
"playing in a major....AGAIN".

Everyone else on here got it bud......

Barry, your Green and red won't be out of place at the masters!!! Should take some silks and ask the big boys to hang it up in the club house :)

Have a great time!

Big Bob Buckner said on the tv this morning that the Greens at Augusta are like bowling of a car bonnet
