talking about the sale and television i read that the sales will NOT be shown live this year,,,,very disapointing and would like to know the reasons

Hi there

Super Sport sent us a formal notifiation that they do not have a slot for us , and would not be able to view it live.

They feel they can use their channels in better ways this year.

We are not happy but we are live streaming it on our website www.tba.co.za .

We will be cerating a sales sumamry package which will we will try and get on TV post event.

Tom, can you not get the press there on opening night when the first horse comes through the ring? Surely if other sporting events etc. can get on to the 8pm news you can?

So much OLD rubbish on Super Sport these days ,I would have thought that SS would love to have the yearling sales to improve viewership.
Really felt that Andrew asked the panel the wrong questions last.

i have the friend who works at mnet he tell me that the horses have a very poor following and they want to close 232. he tell me they do a survey and rubbish like the marathon run and basketball in the wheel chair is more popular it is no surprise they dont give tv for the sales (td)
