I was told he stepped into a hole/divit - this was race 3 - so according to LG before the 'track packer' was used - maybe LG can confirm

Surely one needs to accept that the Vaal 'staduim' has some serious issues, be it the turf or the sand track...

unsafe underfoot conditions can end a jockey's career just like that. somebody is getting paid to make sure that the jockeys working environment is as safe as possible.

office workers don't work while there's drilling and painting going on.....
