Do you guys see horseracing around in say 25 years time?

CEO Rian du Plessis says Phumelela is also working on creating “racinos” by offering other forms of gaming — sports betting and medium payout machines — at its tracks.

Is that slot machines?

Yes

Why not Virtual Racing between races like in the UK betting shops

I think that it is a good thing. They should be disolving as many partnerships as possible. P's interest is clearly dividends only and the only reason that racing is "tired" is because you cant just always paint over cracks and call it new all the time.

With GC standalone horse racing may still exist at a point in the future.

Come on guys - see the positve side in all of this!

Maybe GC replaces Bettingworld with something better with the money from the sale of Clairwood?
