and our gold circle board sold out their share of betting world to phumelela..great move lads considering tote turnover is dying sports betting on the rise and bookmaking rights are extremely hard to buy these days....shot (tu)

CEO Rian du Plessis says Phumelela is also working on creating “racinos” by offering other forms of gaming — sports betting and medium payout machines — at its tracks.
Is that slot machines?

I think that it is a good thing. They should be disolving as many partnerships as possible. P's interest is clearly dividends only and the only reason that racing is "tired" is because you cant just always paint over cracks and call it new all the time.
With GC standalone horse racing may still exist at a point in the future.
