Tough racing today; some thoughts:
R2: Money for Giro Jet; stable may have pointer in that Blushing Peter ran behind GJ's stable companion on the Nursery; for me I'd rather back GJ up with BP in the PA; also Mac the Dancer not too far behind BP on collateral form
R3: Full Quest gets a tongue tie which may help; not too much between FQ, Jellie Tot and Red Oak on their last runs, while Gaelic Girl is rated higher than all of those - doesn't seem to be a lot of confidence in the first timers - load up
R4: Saratoga Magic has the best form imo - not sure about Chat Noir, who should improve over the trip, but comes out of some moderate races imo; a few with upset potential imo include Flawless Gem (some fair runs in Cape Town), Ad Kahn (gets a tongue tie and should improve this trip), and Victorious Destiny (tries the blinkers and has found betting support)
R5: Cyclone Michelle heavily penalised for her last win, but is in form so has a place chance again, Express View probably at best over 1400, but has an obvious chance as well, Dance Alley could prefer this trip at this stage, and is another with an obvious chance, together with Caribbean Dream and Vivid; Sunny Disposition also well handicapped imo, but may prefer racing around the turn
R6: Princess Rue looks the right one to me here, very fast so the quick going should suit her; the competition seems much of a muchness, so I may end up banking PR in a small P6
R7: Another open race; Napoleon Dynamite could get his head in front if he gets going early enough, but obvious chances to all of Paella (ideally suited to this trip), Hard Rock (Delpech rides for de Kock and has found betting support), Edict (may prefer softer ground), Bermuda Winter (Striker sticks with this one) and the consistent Where's My Chop, who also is ideally suited to the trip
R8: National Road won well last time and is my first choice from the consistent Commision Due; obvious chances to Aerofoil (breathing noises last time) and Capitoline
Play well if you do (tu)
