Harry i agree with giving her a break now,but were not wanting winners,but if a horse needs a run or a 1st timer is green,i wouldnt mind hearing that a bit more often...

Trainers and breeders also need to remember We have hundreds of owners on here and hundreds of potentially new owners in the back ground..

mr hibs as i say if trainer or owner give the info we can listen and be grate full. all i say is to many of the punters think is there right to get the "info". take it from some one who loose hundreds of thousands over the last 40 years that this "inside" info is often the info you do not want!

Have to agree - owners need better stakes, better stakes come from bigger pools, so imo it is an advantage to the owners to be transparent to the punters whose betting monies supply the pools - not true?

I can tell you Ive known lassie many many years..from the days she was an assistant to a trainer across the way from MdK stable in Jhb..she is straight down the line..personally as an owner I don't care who knows about my horses cause an experienced punter would know that stable info is not always spot on..everyone is trying to win the race and its not easy..as long as the horse is working well the punter and even the owner must make up his/her mind as regards to whether they will back it or not...a friend once said to me that we all know that some horses will be fancied by the stable to win and some not so fancied and thats the fun of punting..cause as a punter one has to try predict if there is possibly a horse or two that might not have the best of form but could still win..I do however agree with Pirates that sometimes if there are 1st timers in the exotics the TT presenters should try get that info from trainers as to the well being of the horses in races later in the day.
