@ Mister A - feel free to use that line of mine with pleasure!

To me, you are the ham in the sandwich, with Formgrids. On the one side, you are making this tool available at no cost to anyone and everyone in Racing. This in itself, serves as a vital Marketing tool for Racing. This is why the Operators should, imho, grasp the oportunity with both hands and fund the endeavours of Formgrids - their work is done for them, it's easy for them, etc.

So, now the Operators appear blind and oblivious, imho, to the value that you bring and just dont put a cent in, for whatever the reasons may be. One obvious reason - " it's free anyway "

The next, logical step then, is to charge for your services, to subscribers. When this happens, you place a value on your work and the Operators now dont have this "freebie " any more. Also, more avenues open up, for instance, maybe RA advertise at a decent rate and then include subscription to their members etc or PGL to use a section which they then link to tote or suchlike, etc.

Give it a VALUE, imho !

Louisg,,,, you pointed out one of the biggest problems in SA racing,, greedy short sighted operators,, they sit and watch,, while a working class individual struggles to finance and build a world class horseracing website for them,,, with one poor overworked underpaid developer burning the midnight oil,, other countries operators are proactive,, HK, USA, DUBIA, FRANCE etc. they wouldn’t sit and watch,,,,,,, no, no, no they would recognise the value of a product that aids their cause and does their work and jump at the chance to HELP, we work ourselves to the bone promoting and educating and help develop the industry for the love of the game,,, while the operators sit on piles of development money,,, ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, it’s you guys who should stand up and say enough,, kick butt and get fresh free thinking people at the helm of the game,,, they should learn from Microsoft who support and provide free tools for outside developers who in turn develop Microsoft’s product and everything grows
