LOL!!! But I'm not sure I'd be backing mine at the moment anyway Saldiani, seemingly very out of touch and others on here... Magi yesterday big time... have been pulling me through. Hopefully Frodo will post his usual words of incredible wisdom a little later...

Sort of. Perazim Joy was the main catalyst though and that was Magi's shout... of course I did it with DC but I only did DC because of what the trainer said after his earlier winner (and Magi also gave good mention to DC)... neither were my selections, in fact I had neither down as finishing in a place!! That is why I love this forum, I have great confidence in following others, perhaps not blindly but the likes of Magi, Frodo et all are just light years ahead of me. It is rare that I will change my mind completely based on what others say, that would be no fun, but having side-bets here and there etc to win a lot, if I can see they are a very confident about a particular horse... that can be fun and very profitable!! :)-D

(tu)Not sure how 'wise' these will turn out to be, but for what it's worth:

R3: Vantage surely only has to be slightly above average to beat these, especially as Through it All's better runs were at Turffontein - also the draw may prove factor
R4: True Blood is out of a Montjeu mare, so he may well be looking for this trip - and if he stays I think he will be hard to beat in this field.
R5: Pinnacle stakes - so it should be easy, but it's not imo - Napoleon Dynamite really should not have lost last time and should be right there again, while Eastern Greeting was not penalized for running close 2nd in a graduation filles last time (where the winner Cosmogenic was give 6 points), so EG looks well in here - also Paella has run against better and should also feature if he can reproduce his pinultimate run
R6: I'm not sure that Halve the Deficit can give Canterbury Tale 2 kg's - CT did beat The Last Samurai by 2 lengths and TLS has won twice since then - not much between Millenium Wind, Canute the Great, Fort Lodge, Bold Al and Mass Destruction - but I think Canterbury Tale will be too good for all of them
R7: Very difficult race imo - my first five would be Rosey's Song, Secret Ravine, Sabrina's Baby, Heads Up (who needs to jump on terms) and Rose for Rossini - in no particular order
R8: Another tough filles handicap where Stunning Jet does look the right one (but the draw could prove troublesome) - for value I like Arctic Bear who has come down a couple of points in the handicap and does look best over this trip
R9: Lots with chances again in this maiden fillies, but Flight Specialist did go close over this trip before and looks the right one - Angies Fancy only has her 3rd run, so could improve to feature again

Enjoy
