For all those all who think VC can't run 2000 I suggest you watch the Cape Derby again. VC may be a better miler but certainly was not stopping over 2000. The way Jackson found another gear after eyeballing VC was awesome stuff.
We all know anything can happen in racing but if Jackson runs like he did in the Derby he should murder this lot. I have to wonder if Jackson has to carry 60 kg's in the July will the trainer and owners even run him.
Anyway let's hope there are no hard luck stories about the track, objections, pace and it's a clean true race.

Race 1 Greyville roughy is Teetan on 9. The other 2 worth a mention 5 and 8. Wish I could give a full examination to help you with your selection, but the missus wants to go to Woolies to buy slippers!!! Catch you later!

Certainly no lack of opinions today - might as well throw mine into the mix:
R3: Pigeon Powere has consistent form and although running on over shorter, there must be doubts about the 2000; I'm backing her up in the PA with Sheikina, who is bred to stay every inch of the trip
R4: Wide open - load up
R5: I think Soul Master will like this course, has the right weight and the right jock and is good value here - imo Sage Throne is now quite high in the ratings, so the de Kock coupling could prove the danger to SM - imo Blake is up against it here.
R6: Judging by the betting, it looks a 2 horse race, but I think both Dubai Gina and Thinder Dance could give the top 2 a run for their money
R7: Jackson - but I'm including the Tarry coupling in the P6 just in case
R8: Should lie between Atlantic Oak and Secret Babe imo
R9: Both Always Al and Kuja ran way above their ratings in their last runs, so they are my first two choices - but there is money for Marchant, so it could be a wise move to include the Govender coupling in the P6
Enjoy (tu)

Nope! I don't bet. (Or very seldom) They used to fancy it a while back and I think it is coming right.
