what a pathetic performance by the elks
the juniors should teach them a few lessons!
....and wish they would give Morne a pink boot / cost us plenty this game (and every other)

:X the one time I dont play the draw

ek het vir jou gese dat hulle moet Steyn drop. He is out of form and out of luck. Peter Grant needs to get his chance or they should play Lambie at flyhalf and get that Peterson to play full back to do the kicking. The All Blacks will beat us with ease based on the performance over the past 3 weeks.

I would not read too much into the draw today (would be interesting to hear Garrick's opinion) - rain and a wet ball has always been a great leveller - but I agree that Morne Steyn has to make way (but not for Peter Grant) - when Lambie comes back from injury, he should be given a chance at flyhalf imo and I still maintain that Hougaardt is a problem at scrumhalf - but Pienaar not the answer either

On the positive side, the 2 young locks are improving imo, and Wynand Olivier surprised me with a good solid perfomance - but on the other hand the skipper hardly saw the ball as they overdid the inside crash ball imo - but on a wet field it was probably the game plan.

I think the attitude was missing tonight. As Mallet said, we have only plan a, and if that does not work, we're gone. We missed Alberts. Morne Steyn is in the team for his kicking only. That is bad at the moment and he should go. Lambie I feel could be the answer.I still believe that Frans Steyn should play 15. Hougaardt must be used as a impact player. Heyneke will have Fourie du Preez back with the like's of Bakkies Botha to take on the All Blacks. Pierre Spies is cold and with Duane Vermeulen, Schalk Burger still to return, I think we will be competitive. Meisiekind was good tonight and very seldom plays a bad game. And then I await the return of the Free state wonder boy......Johan Goosen. We need a plan b.......any suggestions?

I disagree with most here - When Hougard is moved to the wing for the Bulls in the last 20 the team battles - Steyn must go - Aplon too small - Strauss should get more game time - Spies is just a bull without flair - we need flair in the loose fowards - I think we will lose more than we win away from home(If this was an away series we'd have been beaten) . The English were turning in the tackle and breaking our line - I expect changes will be made sooner than later

you write that Strauss must get more game time. I recall that lots of people used to say that Bimark must get more game time when Smit was still playing. History tells us that South African sport teams always play badly once they have won a series. How many times have SA cricket team lost the last match of a series be it ODI or Test series and the Boks are the same. They need the killer instinct like when the Aussie and West Indian cricket teams were like and like the All blacks are about. Oh yes must not forget Man City as well as they will now win the Premier League every year for the next 10 years.

The reason I want some of the younger players to have a run is to create more options - not the same crash crash rugby - We may have won the series but we should have improved after three matches not got worse - If you watched the NZ game this morning it was great to see the two young flyhalfs doing so well

Mr H, we need to distribute left & right from 9 & 10, but that's not in our game plan. I would love to see J Goosen & J Serfontein as a combo in the near furture, Also very impressed with Pollard.....a couple of years from now, he might be the answer
