I am about 5 km's from Arlington, and we had 10 mm of rain overnight,
but it looks to be a clear if cold morning. My iPad weather programs
show no rain expected today.

Looks like a nice day but cold + WET...
Will walk track when we get to course.

I would think moving the false rail in from 11m will help us use all of the course + finish the meeting.

Hi guys well today is a brilliant card far as i am concerned. With open betting today we can get some nice value but its going to be SOFT today so be wary. So here goes with my usual PA and JP with best bets and value bets

PA 4,8,9,10 x 1,3 x 1,2,5,8 x 5 x 3,8,9,10,14,15 x 3,6,7 x 2,4,9 R346 (take 20% this pa will pay)

JP 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,11,12,14 x 2,4,5 x 2,3,4,5,6,8,9,10,14,15,16 x 1,2,3,4,5,6,7 R255 (10% WILL PAY)

Best Bets

Race 2 (10) Tizasmartdollar 5-1 (This horse improved with blinkers last time and will be better over this extra furlong. Has a good apprentice that claims 4kg and should run well

Race 3 (1) Silverano 8-10 (This horse moved up well before tiring to finish 3.00 off them which is a bit concerning as he is going 2000M this time but now is running against weaker i feel. His price is too short for me but a BANKER in the PA and P6. I am putting in 1 more Sir Isaac as he is a front runner and might steal it or will run a good pace for the favourite. The two look good enough for me

Race 5 (5) Parceval 9-2 (This horse won well last time out and only escaped with a 3 pound penalty so should be competitve again and has a better draw this time. I think his price is value and must be respected. He will WIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Value Bets

Race 4 (8) Evangelica 18-1 (43-10 place) This horse is starting to improve and is going i think over a distance she is looking for and this price looks GREAT value. Her last run was 4.5 behing Alif and was backed in from 25-1 to 20-1 that day so the stable espected the improvement. She ran behind Inca's Spirit a few runs back 4.75 over 2400 so this 2200 will suit her

Race 6 (8) Mile High 22-1 (4-1 place) His last run was way too short first run in PE but is now back to the mile which i think will improve. He ran to some nice sorts in the cape and with a nice draw should be competitive in this line up

Race 7 (3) Tic Tak Toe 7-1 (I think he is much better around the turn and he has the beating of most the horses in this field on his penultimate run. Tom Cat is his only danger but has to carry the same weight for a 2.00 beating. Tic Tak BIG RUNNER!!!!!!!!!

Race 8 (9) Devon Debutante 14-1 (She ran against male rivals last time and ran just 2.35 off them which i think is good enough to win in this field. Daffodil Day flopped her lines last time over the straight 1200 and now is trying 1400 around the bend for the first time and has a wide draw to contend with along with the other fancied Diva Taahirah

Well looks a tricky card but there will be nice payouts

ENJOY AND GOOD LUCK!

Right decision to move rail out with 450m run-in.
Best possible ground + track will be rolled between races, might have to race off raill mid-meeting but should get thru if no rain + guys ride safe

GOOD LUCK

I hear that it has been difficult to work horses properly in PE the past couple of weeks due to the wet, so caution is advised.

The best cards seemed reserved for Fridays at the moment... as last week though, shame the conditions in PE are not great and too many maidens at Greyville but a relief all the same...

Arlington - am aware the top three are favourite and one needs to be very weary of conditions but have some confidence in the selections, e/w yankee...

R4 1 Fly Emirates*
R5 5 Parceval*
R6 9 Dancinginthedesert*
R7 3 Tik Tak Toe

Keen on R8 9 Devon Debutante as an e/w.
Also think that R3 3 Sir Isaac could upset the odds-on fav,

Greyville... less confident so a smaller yankee

R5 9 Nitro Nori*
R6 12 Hunt the Jester
R7 9 Artistically Done
R8 9 Trimontium

Also think R3 2 Clear For Take Off might surprise the two market leaders

* combined yankee over the two cards and will also be having an e/w double using the selections in the last race of each meeting

Idiots very small e/w yankee
G R2 6 Meetmehalfway (was tentative selection before reading the above and good to hear 14/1 could be overpriced)
G R8 10 Balladry
A R1 8 Torello
A R4 14 Camden Borough

Best of luck to all (tu)
