This draw bias is a disgrace :X .. My two best roughies for the day Elegant Bay (33/1) and Dancing Lee (9/1) drawn 1 and 2 respectively {takes wallet...shoves firmly into back pocket} ...makes a mockery of the form, and us poor kipies who try analyse the card before hand.

Not back yet Saldiani, just popping in occasionally :) Probably another week before I bore everyone on a daily basis again B)- And no, nothing "obvious" I like today... especially after that first race! Have a feeling high draws will be well to the fore today though in all races, not just because of the outside track being used... inner has been used frequently of late and therefore reasonable to think that the ground there will be much more worn. May of course not prove to be the case but for all races I'm looking at middle to high... just so happened that one of the few drawn high with no form and no support won the first! If I were to choose a horse for the day at reasonable odds it would be Oh Driscoll, at slightly bigger odds Dancing Lee tugged a little as an e/w and because I liked nothing that had raced before in the last I (hopefully fortunately) picked out Melli Mou but see the price has gone from 25s to 4s, good for me as was on small at 25s and after the support did it again at 16s, but think Bells of Bow (and not because of our chat the other week GB ;) ) is worth a small investment at huge odds and maybe Louis G's newcomer too.
Anyway, have no confidence in much at the moment, especially at the Vaal where it seems very unpredictable but best of luck to all (tu)

I agree Magi but why moan about it, surely it gives you an advantage as a punter, leave out those with a bad draw and hope for better odds on one with a good draw where people are backing without consideration of the draw, its what I do all the time! ;)

I agree with you in principle... I LOVED Kimerley when all you did was box 1,2,3,4 every race and collect, and the Milnerton straight where you oxed the four outside draws and then got in the queue... BUT ... this is NOT the same as it is not consistently biaised so one is guessing whether it will be a factor or not... which maes having a bet not an option. I did in the second race rove 1,2(by seven outside draws) for the quartet. Watch draw 2 or 3 win this :(

Bud, I can't speak for the good ol' days because a) it was before I got here and... b) I am a mere pup compared with your ancient years ;) rude I know but you'll forgive me! B) and I do agree Vaal can be very inconsistent, maybe more than just the draw is influencing some of the results (shock, horror!) but I do think middle/high might be the way to go today for reason stated previously. See you also liked Dancing Lee today... might have to do that one now despite the draw, think it'll be wasted money but don't like to ignore those where we agree!

Racing is a funny old game...I feel like going on a Blue Berry Hunt with these results. R100 can't hurt me any more.
