Just attempted to get to the work track and got stuck ! Main track very sloshy already. Racing in jeopardy as far as we concerned, told Musi as well.....
Mr. Passerini here but course manager still in bed. Already had 16mm of rain and still raining......

Thanks for the early notification, a sensible decision considering the
weather forecast. I know weather forecasters are sometimes like
racing tipsters and get it all wrong, but all the signs point to cold, wet
and windy conditions the whole weekend.

Thanks for letting us know so quick Dorrie, very disappointing as this was the first time ever I'd selected all 8 winners... even more disappointing for you as you had two of them
I have to say I think its a disgrace though, looking east from MB there is a break in the dark grey clouds of at least a couple of kms and I didn't get too soaked checking... I just don't understand why in this day and age they can't build tracks with retractable roofs, never have these problems in the UK. :S
On a more optimistic note for racing... I suppose the clouds will be moving north to Durban??

All of you in PE can now go to Humewood Golf club for a round. Will give you an idea of what the guys are in for during this years British Open:

Haupie played Humewood once and the wind was blowing, being from the highveld and hitting a high ball the wind killed me. Was hitting a wedge down wind further than my driver into the wind. Shot my worst ever round.
