Nice Engelsman.... I am gutted as I was in a meeting and excused myself too late to get on :X ... I did say that Khumalo was a bonus
.. Would have had 20% of the quartet for a measly R28.20
.. and to cap it all I had Presidents Elect in my P6 and jackpot but not my P6...

Cheers Magi... just had a nice win with Celtic King too :)o Internet still causing me problems or I probably would have won more but not complaining
Sorry you didn't get on (td) but seems some of my initial confidence today was well founded.
Hibs... I believe you are correct but I was only made aware of that today by Magi. Maybe I have been here long enough to have known but I didn't. My point is that if you look at a map of the course on the internet, none that I have seen show the 1400 or 1600 as a straight, they are all on the bend... including phumulela or however its spelt!!

I HAD A BET ON SENATOR ! I was worried because Verdonise's 1st timer in the 3rd ran badly after major support for it .. I stuck to Senator though because the formlines were really really strong and really it was taking on soup meat bar the 1st timer of which i knew nothing of .Senator ran close up to Arctic Sun last time and Arctic ran a cracker behind Celtic King earlier on . Also the run to Quick striker was very good and the form was franked by virgil cane to name but one . On paper wherever Indian striker was to finish Senator would be at least 2 lengths ahead .
I was not watching the coverage but was listening over the phone . When Clyde Basel announced Senator racing in club colours i KNEW I DID MY TOM . It was tooooo late for me . Some might say ya ya its just a conspiracy theory bla bla bla . I say , i have noticed on many occasions when there is huge pressure on a horse some how some way it gets beat .
There is no way to police this . After all Senator finished close up today ! I SAY THE 1ST three past the post battle in the near future (unless they race on sand which is an unknown ) .
Ah while i'm carrying on here ! WHAT ABOUT MEISA the Alexander horse ? Two runs back it had huge betting pressure on it having just come off a cracking debut run behind Eaton Square . It hit a brick wall(sp 5/10) the last 150m of the race . Next time out, ok granted the race was a step up to a mile and it won by a street ?
Still Meisa should have put the field to bed in its second start but did not ?
CONSPIRACY ????? i don"t know !!!
