FRANKEL to contest Qipco Sussex Stakes

FRANKEL to face up to 7 rivals in Qipco Sussex Stakes at Glorious Goodwood on Wed 01-08-2012 at 4.10 pm S.a. time.
The Sussex Stakes is GRP 1 over a mile with a stake of GBP316500.

Strongest opponent said to be Farhh from Godolphin supp for GBP19500.

Look forward to seeing the champ in action with his own pacemaker, I can't see it getting beat but I expect Farhh to run 2nd beaten less than 5 L

Was there not just 4 in the race last year when he won at Goodwood? when he hammered Canford Cliffs?

Unfortunate but trainer Sir Henry Cecil will not be at Goodwood on Wed 01-08 due to ongoing treatment.
"Although I'm able to train my horses I am not quite fit to go racing".
