A very intelligent and idealistic man once said 'religion is the opiate of the masses' ....and he is spot on !! Easiest way to control the masses is to brainwash them and use lekker words like 'faith' and 'hope' (

Dunno what religion has to do with it - there is no life out there, whether its a cute little one-celled bacteria or an H.G. Wells triffid.

Next stop after Curiosity will be Europa, one of the moons of Jupiter. There will be no life there too, anyone want to lay me with a fair price?

If Some of the views on this thread, are to be taken to heart, it would imply, that we are the ultimate in life.

If that is true, then we are in real deep shit.

All we tend to do with this so called ability to think, is destroy, while the universe keeps creating and evolving.

Great picture, just shows what a little speck we are in the dynamics of the universe, the one thing man cannot control.

Secret is to be part of that energy of creation.
