lol... GP, its a tough race to choose a banker as there are a lot of maybe's... Think Twice ran on really well over 1000, but whether 1400 will suit is guesswork, I have Qui Secret for 2nd, but that is in the hope that the gelding will help restore it to previous form, and i have Sunne in 3rd in the hope it can overcome the wide draw.... to name but a few!!
Too many ifs for me in that to have a PA banker... if I had to choose one, I'd stick with Special Effects (somewhat obviously!). I have a pin though if you want to borrow it

Times to me are vital S... but preferably over a few races so you can try and see some consistency. Not necessarily to be taken at face value. That said, when its only run once and given the circumstances of that race and that C Pete was in a league of its own, its not a bad indicator for a 2nd time up horse which lost 4 lengths at the start. But it is guesswork and hopework to a large degree, agreed.

How can you banker Icemberg PL? Last time out you could almost throw a blanket over six. I think it will win but a banker, not for me. Hope you prove me wrong... but only if Bandol doesn't win!

PA bankers for me today are 6 in the 4th and 3 in the 6th.

Very open racing today, No point throwing money at every horse. Hoping ot catch a few swingers in the early races. PA im not spending a fortune. Got 2 races left to read then will post my selections.

PS - My form for picking horses has been shite of late!

if it wins it will make me "comfortable" for the day, ie at worst will only lose small but if not I'll be back in the mire struggling for the winners... have e/w double with Nuns so yes, hoping!! (tu)
