Just heard on sky news. No charges against Fergie. Ref Mike Dean stated that Fergie was NEITHER excessive NOR abusive.
Nothing sinister after all guys.

It's hard to discipline Ferguson, especially at Old Trafford, when you Beleive in doing so you will probably not
referee at the biggest venue in future.
The FA should look at this as nobody should be above the law.
What's more surprising is the greatest manager in the game doesn't know the laws of the game.
Any ref that gives bad decision at Old Trafford against Man U generally don't ref there for a while...

Dean made no reference to the incident in his match report, and on that basis the Football Association – who were still awaiting the report on Thursday – has no cause to take the matter any further. They would only have a remit to do so in such a case if the referee raised their attention.
Dean has described in detail the sequence of events to referee chief Mike Riley, explaining why there is no chronicling of Ferguson’s behaviour in his official account, which is then submitted to the FA.
Dean has told Riley, the general manager of the Professional Game Match Officials (PGMO), that Ferguson held a “reasonable and rational” conversation with him, expressing his discontent at the decision to allow the controversial own-goal by Jonny Evans.
Riley was informed the United manager did not use foul or abusive language, nor did Dean feel his integrity was questioned during their conversation – the crux as to why no further scrutiny will be necessary.
You can chat, speculate, moan, groan all you like but... even if it is just this once... take into consideration the people who were actually involved and listen to what they say rather than than what you would like them to say!

You talk absolute boll&@x Engles.
Mike Dean totally bottled it,that's why it isn't in the report.
This is the same Mike Dean who reported Wenger for kicking a water bottle.
I can only gauge you are not in the UK at the moment, there is uproar about him not getting punished.
As you know I follow Chelsea, when Obi Makele accused Clattenburg of racism I was openly critical of him,I thought it
was bullshit and that it never happened.
Why can't you look at what happened without a Man U shirt on,kids watch that and think its ok to berate officials.Ferguson did it and got
away with it.
If this RESPECT campaign has got any credibility he should face a charge with or without Mike Dean.

Redknapp and Mancini are going to be charged by the FA. Redknapp rightly pointed out after QPR loss to WBA that they should have had a penalty because both the ref and linesman missed it. TV evidence shows clearly that it was a penalty and an easy one to give at that. Ferguson interpretation of the offside law was wrong. The ref in that match got it right to over rule the linesman. So the manager who got his arguement right is going to be charged yet the one who ranted and raved in front of millions watching gets off yet again. Respect in football for officials? What a joke. The first manager who questions a ref today will be either sent to the stands or reported by the ref. You see the FA have to show us that they are serious about the Respect programme..just when they feel like it. Its one rule for Ferguson and another for the rest.
I would have felt the same if it were any other manager who behaved and acted like he did.

Hi Guys
My soccer bet for today: Basically the top 2 in the Prem and Championship.
Man Utd @ 3/10
Man City @ (11/20)
Cardiff @ (8/10)
Hull @ (17/20)
= 11 / 2
@ Solo : I can't see City not winning 2 in a row.

Usually when a team sack their manager after the team have had a poor run that team win the first match that the new manager is in charge. Notts Forest sacked their manager the otherday after they beat Leeds. Today with a new manager they tackle Crystal Palace. I am on Palace at 23/10
