Especially for the scarce Gregbucks.... my daily dribblings from the far side....
Race 1: A 4yr old unraced Captain Al from the Drier stable must be a betting option. Favourite looks too short in the betting.
Race 2: The scratchings of Cape Vesta and Bella Blue leaves it open for a first timer as those with exposed form, and I use the term loosely, have not got much going for them.
Race 3: Despite it being a weakfish field I believe Indigo Child will be found out late again at this track and the Laird / Marcus mount looks very close to a ‘good thing’ and a definite banker in smaller permutations. Imali Mania loves the course and De Melo will place on this one. The one for me that looks the best option for value is Party Rocker at 20/1. Red Rock Lady for bigger permutations.
Race 4: Stone Reeves never seems to get the draw and is once again drawnd wide. Another horse with a poor draw but is my first selection and I fancy it to kill is Miesque’s Ballot.
Race 5: Not many suited here and take as much of the 28/10 you can get on Charro Negro.
Race 6: Many decent stayers here with no current form but capable of springing back to form on the day. Look After Me appears to be a decent bet at 3/1 despite having an apprentice up. Ignore Sunningdale at this track and rather take swingers with Dichotoma (201/) as this one loves the C&D.
Race 7: Brataloochee a much better horse down the straight so needs to be considered. Thatso Atso ran a good race last time out fading late and will have come on from that and should be cherry ripe today. Not sure of the betting as Anna the Tiger scratched and waiting for adjustments. Zemfira won a good race last time out over C&D and is also an inclusion. I will include That So Atso in my L15.
Race 8: The first outsider I feel confident about to really give us a run for our money, and I have to rely on a 6yr old mare !! I believe Wooden Gold gets the right jockey today and she will go very close. Just looked at the price and it is a very disappointing 13/2 . Damn. Include the Craig Eudy coupling in the exotics and Lunatex in your swingers and exactas.
Doubles and trebles around Above Emerald, Miesques Ballot, Charro Negro, That So Atso and Wooden Gold.
