Morning Dave. ZO does very well, I have the utmost respect for his selections as I've said a number of times. (I would say though, without naming names or blowing their trumpet, that there is another "tipster" about on ABC who if people had followed him (or her ;) ) in the last couple of days, then punters would have netted profits vastly in excess of that which ZO's tips would have). But, it is swings and roundabouts, some days one person will be good, on another day someone else. I'm all for everyone posting what they like... but I am not quite sure why ZO titilates the palate and then doesn't post what he likes... it feels a bit like chasing a playing-hard-to-get woman!!! lol >:D<

These are banter threads and i very rarely follow them, gutted when i have missed the likes of Frodo ,JAP,Rob Faux,Jack Dash and 2cents posting though.. wish i knew an inch of what these guys know about handicapping.

I`m an old style gambler and i prefer to keep my thoughts to myself 1: to make sure i get on at my price and 2: just in case someone might be daft enough to follow me..

I like to think of the posting here more as selections and less as tips

@ Richie77 ... I only sometimes give explanations and only half... just not enough time, space or inclination for full explanations of my twisted logic. I will possibly play a P6... on training at the moment and out of the office.

@Hibs... spot on. I don't give tips, rather guidance as to what I BELIEVE will happen/could happen. And even if I like something at a short price to win, I often don't mention it as I am trying to point the reader in the direction of the 'lurker' to enhance the payout.

@Titch... careful of that Geolina... I feel that field has more depth to it than is initially apparent. I will take a small quartet ROVING Geolina.

Ok thanks Guys, i will post my selections. Feel free to comment, as i said i am aalways looking for assistnce and there is probably alot more of you on here that know more than me.

Newbie question - How do you know if a horse is racing an easier or harder race than the last. Often hear people talking about it this and cant seem to see how they know this?

Thanks in advance.
I didn't choose the #puntlife, the #puntlife chose me!

Race 3..
Danziggs Odds.high on speed rating and only won over cd..good draw.25/1 seems generous.
I will play that in ew lucky 15 with Al Felon,Cadillac Baby and Sucha Wonder...small stakes

A card which has the potential to make even the 'best' (whoever they might be) look stupid; some thoughts:

R3: Nautica may have some stamina douts imo (certainly on the dam side), so the safer option for the PA imo would be Kudos, who has had only one unplaced effort out of 8 tries over this trip - Alamein holds Kudos on a run behind American Gangster so must have a chance, and watch out for Danzig's Odds who looks to have some sort of chance on his pinultimate run.
R4: Video Games the obvious one IF she takes to the sand - if not, it becomes wide open with many of these unproven on the sand.
R5: Phi is in good form and looks the right one to me; also consider Waley's Camp who has placed on the sand and has a good draw, and I think Hockus's last effort on the sand was too bad to be true - better off in the weights with Phi, so has an upset chance imo
R6: The Azzie coupling will be a popular banker in the P6, but none of them really look 'home and hosed', could prove a wise move to include Liquid Motion and maybe Fall of Troy (although out at the weights); for a roughie, consider Castle Ross who is by Kahal and has his first crack on the sand.
R7: All of Al Felon, Son of the Burg, Berrymiller(drawn wide) and The Fixer have consistent form over this trip, so those are the 'safe' options in the PA; imo The Angelus could struggle here - roughie to consider is President Elect, who has beaten The Fixer before at the same weights.
R8: Should be between Think Again and Maria K, who both like this surface - not sure about Set to Strike who may have improved, or just met a very weak field last time out
R9: Lost of if's and but's here as well; chances to most, but for some value consider Shedrivesmecrazy (may like the sand being by Tiger Ridge) and for a real rougie include Burning Embers (may also like the sand being by Muhtafal)

Enjoy (tu)
