Are all of you being serious? What did the Lions beat tonight.? Maybe a coalition of De Klerck Luyt and Watson can come and save SA Horseracing .Just a thought. Pirates spot on neither of these teams deserve to,play super rugby

They beat a S15 team that beat the ANC Kings in the relegation games. Dr Luyt can save anything.:S

Takes me back to the time when Dr Luyt and Jannie Engelbrecht were having some sort of disagreement (can't even remember what it was about); we were doing some wine tasting at the time and visited the Engelbrecht farm (Rust and Vrede) ; Jannie Engelbrecht was sitting in his office (upstairs in the cellar) and my late dad pronounced loudly 'I only drink Luyt Harvest' - that got us a few funny looks (these bloody uneducated Vaalies) :D

Was it not in the 90's when Luyt got rid of Mcintosh (coach) and Engelbrecht (manager) when they were replaced by Kitch & Morne ?

Your dad must have had a good sense of humour. (tu)

Lions vs Kings tmo at Ellis park. The Lions have picked their strongest available squad, while the Kings are sending a so called '2nd' team as 8 of their 1st choice players have been withdrawn following' medical' advice. :S

They have had 2 warm-up games against NMMU varsity team & a SWD invitational side while the Lions have beaten Russia, Cheetahs and went down narrowly to the Bulls.

Why would the Kings want to kill themselves in a game that means nothing to them. They will be aiming at the Force in 2 weeks time.
