I'm hoing so, but i think Anthony will be the first to say this one has been expensive to follow.

Morning, a super ,clear but cold day in PE. Please note that next weeks Arlington meeting has already been moved to Fairview. Hope the weather holds....We have 9 runners today.


Race 2 Typhoon Tash first run since moving .has shown us some nice work. Put into trifectas and quartets.

Race 4 Moet Magic first run after a long rest. Fresh but will need the run. Penthous Mouse also fresh and well but will need the run. Oh So Easy first run against the big girls but is very well.

Race 5 Katsamba had genuine excuses last run and was not well ridden. Very well and looking for a big run.

Race 6 Bob is a big runner...

Race 7 TTT is well but may be coming to the end of his career, doesnt have to prove anything. Audit same....

Race 8 Phemba is very well and should be running on.

Whispers Race 3 Kings Emblem, Race 5 Kantaka, Race 8 Million Miles....

Race 1

Mucho Gold - 2 2nds and a 3rd in last 4 races over C&D. Last race the 2 horses to beat him have both won, and the horse behind him won on 1st time out. Paris Symphony who rides in the 2nd was beaten by MG by a length and has since gone on to place 2nd in 2 subsequent rides. I expect the betting to be short.

Fleurista - Although hasnt shaped at Fairview, seems to do well in the soft at Arlingotn. With wet conditions this is deifinitely a horse not to leave out, and hopefully after last couple runs and a new jocky aboard they wont leave her with too much work to do at the end and rather get her into the top 5 by half way round.

Going exacta boxed.

Would it be fair to deduce from your comments that you see Bob as potentially your best, marginally ahead of Katsamba?

Race 2

Chick of the game - Bit of an unruly horse. Had to steady during the race and only lost by 1 length. Has had to be resaddled and had a saddle slip in previous races. A terrible draw but coming in on nice form of a 3rd and 2nd place in similiar conditions to today.

Paris Symphony - The form horse with a 3rd and 2 2nds in the last 4 races. Considerably shorter distance than last few races. Seems to not have much late on in the longer distances so hoping between Khumalo and Laing they have identified this and they send him out to the front and let him run.

Taking both in my PA as well as bankering both in a quartet for 1 and 2, with the field 3 and 4.

Welcome Novice !! Well spotted on Cut and Thrust ...... In my opinion Phemba is the best of the Sham runners. I do not like the fact that Bob went to Flamingo so will definitely cover that leg.

also have a look at can do with that weight and the last run i think this is a big runner at 50/1

Jockey change, Teague Gould only claims 2.5 and I do not feel the weight turnaround is sufficient for an 8.5 length beating, but a fixed place bet could be an option.

Yep boys Syndicator has been costly to follow. I am hoping that today is his day but in saying so the going will be Soft in Fairview. I will be have a few bob on. Gavin quite confident and hopefully my boy Muzi can pull out all stops and give me a good birthday present.
