I need to find a better way of narrowing down my selections. When i do my research i manage to get really decent horses, but on my finalisation i tend to go the wrong way.

Race 1 - No Bet
Race 2 - x, 4th
Race 3 - x, 4th, 1st
Race 4 - x, 2nd
Race 5 - 3rd, 1st
Race 6 - x, 1st, 2nd
Race 7 - x, 4th, 1st
Race 8 - 1st, 3rd

So instead of being 1 leg out in the pick 6 and PA, and catching a whole lot of ATC's i actually end up down quite substantially overall.

No easy answer Richie77. Bet structuring is a very important component of betting, but also where the 'luck' part comes in. My opinion anyway.
