The Pros and Cons of interbet:
Pros
1. You can see volumes traded on both win and place fixed price betting - sometimes you get interesting pointers...
2. Has portal into the Tote so no need for separate TAB account for your tote bets, including soccer 6"s etc.
3. You can request bets at odds you want - if there's a bookie interested he'll take the bet even if way better than the market.
4. James Goodman Podcast (?)
Cons
1. 1.5% (or is it 2%?) fee charged on credit card deposits
2.. Prices offered relatively late compared to some other sites, and VERY late for place bets - 10.00 am the morning of the meet is no good if you're trying to have some early eachway on a shrewdie, under the radar, before everyone else climbs in).
3. Only 3 places except if 16 or more runners - makes a big difference that 4th place... Marshalls World of Sport offer 4 places on 14 or more runners, and often it's collect from Marshalls and lose on Interbet.
4. Sometimes rather meagre volumes are offered at a particular price, so that if someone swoops with a R 500 place bet at say 6/1, there's nothing left for anybody else to take, even though the horse hasn't officially shortened in the betting. And they can take their time before the next tranche at a lower price is put up - again a problem if you're trying to get on urgently on a horse who's price is shortening rapidly..
I go with 2 sites because of this.

all valid points FazzX. What i dislike most is there is very little liquidity on bigger priced runners . Very difficult if not almost impossible to get a grand on a 12/1 shot .
ALSO WHAT IS DECEIVING is when the replays are shown on teletrack , interbet advertises INTERBET SP . Why advertise an SP if its not available to your punters ? I would love to do half my bet at interbet Sp and the rest at their market trade prices .
At least when Betfair advertises SP's , they are available to the punters .
Also their all to come limits are so small considering they are a platform for over 100 bookmakers .

interbet is only good for a straight bet on a fancy horse, forget the out siders there is no money to bet

best site to punt on uk racing because the prices u get are sometimes a point better than the local bookies give.monday fav 2/1 with local bookies interbet gave 3/1 and the horse won easy.
