Who is the other young centre that i think now plays for the Cheetahs? he was in the SA under 21 worls cup team alongside Jordaan? He needs to get a chance sooner rather than later, as these boys are the future of bok rugby.......along with Etsebeth, Goosen, Jordaan, Mvovo and Lambie.....there are more thats needs mentioning, but these are the ones at the top of my list

Peekay, I know Jan Serfontein played at centre for the SA under 21's he currently plays for the Bulls. He is a great prospect.

The one thing we also need to look at is the amount of experience and talent we have lost since last years world cup with Smit, Bakkies, Matfield, Du Preez and Fourie retiring, along with the injuries to Bismark, Spies, Burger, Brussouw, Peterson and Basson. Any team with these types of players missing would battle when first forming the Springbok team. This side has more than enough talent to be right up there with the AB's in a couple of years time. Goosen IMO has the potential to be one of the great flyhalf my worry is he is young and coming off an injury do want to blood him against the Aussies and AB's, where the Rugby Champs is vertually over. I would rather play him in the end of year tour against some of the weaker Northern Hemisphere sides and then a full season of Super Rugby to get him ready. There is no point in killing our future champion over a few dead rubbers. The Boks will bounce back it will just take time. (tu)

Shrek, i agree with you 150%.....and yes, Serfontein is the one i am talking about (tu). For me there is a thin line the coach and selectors need to walk, but they need to walk it. These young men we have mentioned ARE going to be bokke one day. They are extremely unexperienced and need to be brought through the ranks slowly, but too slowly is also going to be a mistake. These boys need to be on the tours and they need to get some game time.....even if it's 10 or 15 minutes here and there. They need to get use to the culture. They are good enough. I think with all our youngsters and all the talent that is around, there is no reason why we can't be the best team in the world for the next 10 years. I want to opposition to be scared of playing us, cos at the moment, they aren't.

My 5c worth. Pienaar and Morne Steyn are stifling any opportunity's we create. What is this standing upright and toeing the ball back into the scrum / maul / ruck whatever while looking around. The opposition can go have a beer and organise their defense afterwards. Ruan Pienaar is not a shadow of his younger self whether due to the 'game plan' or whatever. At present he is a very weak link. Morne Steyn's sell by date has come and gone. let him play Currie Cup and teach the up and coming youngsters .... As Shrek points out, we have almost an entire A team injured at present, and I believe we played a swell as the All Blacks on Saturday but let ourselves down. We lost, they did not beat us.

the best scrumhalf is currently playing for the Cheetas
Sarel Pretoruis, he is quick, he thinks on his feet and quick to take gaps

Haven't seen much of Pretorious but I hear he's excellent.

I know he hasn't been on top of his game but for me Jean De Villiers is one of the worlds beat rugby players, but hes been made to look stupid by the sleeping half backs. Dropping JDV is ludicrous in my book.

I would move Frans Steyn to fullback and bring in De Jongh at outside centre and move JDV to inside. A backline of Pretorious, Goosen, JDV, De Jongh, hougard, habana and steyn cannot do worse than what's going on.

I look forward to the day when we stop kicking non stop up and unders, which seems to be our only game plan. We need to develop a game so we're confident with the ball in hand. The dinosaur rugby tactics employed by the coach thus far is not a long term strategy and is frankly a vote of no confidence to his own players.

These guys get chosen cos they are excellent players who earn my yearly salary in one month...........and they are not allowed to use their natural talent and have to abide by the gameplan (which isn't working by the way)..........Heiny says he won't blame one player..........perhaps he should blame one coach???
