Camelot likes to drop out and come from behind, so i don't think the draw is too crucial for him....just my opinion of course

Draw is very important, this field is much better than anything he has faced before and only 1 horse has one from a double figure draw since 2000..
Anyway he got a good draw in five, the Jap horse drew 18
Camelot must start fav now,ask your bookie if you can bet parimutal prices as im sure the Japs co mingle and will punt their horse like mad yins...

Some Arc titbits
An American horse has never won the race. (Masterstroke is USA).
The run to the top of the turn is quite testing and, as a result, the pace is usually very slow during this portion of the race.
The very serious three year old filly, Great Heavens, is a full sister to Nathaniel.
Detorri last rode for Coolmore when winning the St. Ledger aboard Scorpion in 2005. He regretted the ride then but his booking to Camelot now could be the beginning of the end of the relationship with Coolmore's "enemy" Sheikh Mohammed. (Barzalona, seemingly the sheikh's #1 jock now, rides Masterstroke).
Three year old's have a fantastic record.
Orfevre is the 2011 Japanese triple crown winner.
Come 16h30, some of us might be thinking that 5/2 for Camelot was an absolute bargain and some others might think why hadn't they lumped on even more........
Prosperous punting
