So we are racing - but come 17:45 this afternoon my guess is that many had rather we didn't - very tough card.

For what it's worth, Peanuts probably the closest thing to a PA banker - most other races look very open. We have Laurel Canyon in the 5th, and she would need to get lucky from a poor draw and a jock that probably doesn't suit - but it is a very open looking handicap - hoping for a place - I certainly think she will be the best of the Magner stable.

Open card today will only bet in the Emerald Cup. My fancy is Beacon Flare, might be a bit biased being a full brother to Danger Point. Captain's Secret to come on from his first sand run. My 1,2,3,4 is Beacon Flare, Captain's Secret, Mr Tobin and Calanish.

Very late but our 3 are unknowns but all very well and trying hard.
