Starting gate problems and inconsistent stipes

There would have also been a riot if FFC had run 3rd and then declared a non-runner.................................. and every PA ticket that had him a banker is out............because,ironically,he should have run closer!!!!
I think they need to consider that situation cos it could so easily happen and would be a real catch 22

I would be seriously be annoyed if my horse ran a place but had to toss the ticket in those circumstances..........lol

Perhaps in both issues, the best result for punters would have been to declare the races null and void??

Today's Race 3 should have been called a false start ....nothing else, how the starter never saw that gate open slowly, heaven only knows.

MDK has also had negative things to say about the starting stall in KZN... Surely someone is trying to rectify it...It would be nice if they at least acknowledge a problem...

Sorry guys but having spent some time a long time ago as a stipe and watching and trying to learn from what I believed were the real policeman of racing ( clearly i never learnt enough) what as Rob asked would have happened had FFC won?or run a place? Would he still be declared a non runner? I'm not having a go at anyone here and have to agree with Craig just on the evidence of what was shown they had to scratch him. But as picked up by the Shams and others why the inconsistency from meeting to meeting. The other point is as Shaheen pointed out we all bankered FFC in the PA expecting that the horse would get a fair start and a fair run. I did not want the 12 horse in my PA as I did not think it would run a place yet me and thousands of others are now forcEd to accept that we have to have the 12 horse in our PA because that's what thE rule says!!! . Sorry but this rule needs to be looked at - its a load of crap that I have to accept a horse in my PA that I did not want in the first place because of a crap rule and a bunch of officials who clearly cannot or will not be consistent in there judgements. But then again the the T20 has been on and now the CLT 20 is on so let's watch cricket or play golf. So nice to see that the boss of Tellytrack actually asks the people of this forum to comment on some issues but clearly takes no notice of the real issues. Hope your horse is ok Craig as for the stipes and the cricketers keep concentrating on the awesome golf days . Oh shit the wife just dropped my vodka bottle now I'll have to drink brandy cause that's the rule in this home like It or not. Maybe I can or should get her to review the rule so that if there's no Vodka then I can choose to do whateVer I want! Wishfully thinking.
