I think it's pretty difficult to second guess a jock in a situation most of us have never been in.
Glen knows King of Pain and has ridden several of his wins.
Durbanville is not an easy track at the best of times and the false rail made for a tight turn and a very competitive race on Sunday.
I cannot be objective here as I know both the jockey and the horse, so can only say that Glen is a great guy and that King of Pain is a great horse and am very confident that we'll be seeing plenty more of both of them in time to come.
To get back to the subject at hand, the Champion Jockey title is not handed out for nothing and Anton only adds to his legacy by being a great ambassador for our sport as well as a great rider with this generous gesture.
Dorrie - all the best with your function and I'm sure whoever secures Jay Peg's saddle will treasure it as much as it so richly deserves.
