Black, pitch black...

press, those are hard to come by, very few BLACK race horses around.

Nothing beats a grey.....will never forget how Jeff Lloyd sat 17 lenghts behind on FULL NORTH at the vaal 800m , 400m 9 lenghts , 200m 5 lenghts,,,,and at the 100m the commentator shouted.....FULL NORTH EXPLODING THROUGH FROM THE BACK OF THE FIELD .....and won by 3 lenghts.....nothing can beat that feeling.....

The first thing i do when i get my hands or eyes on a sales cataloque i search for the grey horses that is on sale and pick my fav ....

Somebody once told me that horses don't like running past grey/white horses for some reason. Watch how many grey/white horses get to the front and horses don't go past them....

Why cant the bring back one of the most exiting races back ........The WHITE HORSE INVITATIONAL .....remember how Miss Averof won it........most beautiful race

I was going to say, Zietsman, wasn't there a race once competed by all grey horses? Not so long ago I think, but I can't remember anything about where or when. Anybody know or have a link?

Greys always look fat to me ... but I must admit The White Horse is a beauty. It helps of course that he has talent!

My most favouritist colour though is liver chestnut, especially when the body is really dark and the mane and tail really blond, like this:
