i would be VERY careful on this card, not only is it very open, with the rain around it will make it even harder as some horses may not be ready, along with some not liking the soft conditions, coupled with scottsville being the 'graveyard'...would be looking to play wide in exotics, expect big payouts..Via Africa probably best bet of the week, would see a strong exacta horse being Cherry Tripper...Slinky The Cat shows great value around the 10/1 mark, caught my eye when running on nicely last time out, cant see it being out of the top 3, better value places at 2/1 than the top two in the market are paying for a win
Other than that, good luck

There is a potential for some big upsets with this card ...Sorry I won't be watching.
@Craig and Pat...all the best. I think you may both have a winner tomorrow(tu)

Craig Eudey racing
Today we have 4 runners. Threshold in the 1st is a must in quartets as he worked well on the grass. I think we have been going a little far with him. Peregrine King has a very big chance with Anton on. A must in everything. Daddy's luck has a quartet chance. Just weakened a bit in her last run but now has 4kgs off and a good draw. Giles had a much improved last run and is another with a chance today. You just never know in these Appie races though. Be carefull today as most if not all the horses have not had their proper preparations into these races due to the rain so you could end up with some upsets,

i have saharan heights today in the first,.his last run was a total waste of time as he and another horse ridden by c taylor decided to have their own duel on the inside at clairwood and cut each others throats and both finished downfield...hopefully today he can come back to his runs behind go west and capetown noir and run into the money as bar the first timers the horses that have run havent shown anything...
