Ziets you won't have a soul with any interest..... I picked and posted advice on Pierre Jourdan on a website forum and still battle to get any interest on these forums..... Problem is it's like tipping everyone wants to know your fancy so that they can back it.....when they win big they don't go out of their way to give you a chop......

i learn the hard way that to own horse you only satisfy your ego..... ;) some good advice is given to me from a wise friend who tell me one day "flash when you buy the horse you have him to watch, when i buy the computerform i have the hole card to watch!" owning horse for the most is cost you money with very little returns, stay away people buy property and acumalate the wealth, when you retire you thank flash....

Why do you not buy them yourself and race them as many others on this site do?

Thanks Ziets.....followed the link and it's a gr8 plug for Muhtiman and Mark Tarry....still got no new PM from some big spender that wants to win the NEXT RTR race.....these okes will be throwing big bombs at the recent RTR panel selections.....all completely FOC and I have so far endorsed 2 of the panel picks which may be the sales toppers.....also got a few potential cheapies that showed less than nothing in their respective gallops and may need intesive schooling before they see a race course......::o

Muhtiman I know what you mean. Only had 2 posters( who I will contact today) who are prepared to take a share in a RTR horse. Feels like a one way street sometimes. I wonder how your picks off the gallops compare to mine.

Craig I don't pick horses from the gallops......I paper pick on pedigree then look at the way they move.....got a list of more than 20 and will go and see them in the flesh look them in the eye....check their boxes watch them walk and then come up with a short list. Those gallops are a bit deceiving on DVD/online and I only have seen what I PVRed and there are a few missing.....the horses all seem to be going like the clappers then the slomo makes them all look ever so graceful......I saw a few running very fast and then ducking at the same time.....and imposible that they did not run through the rails......:S

It does look like that some are speeded up as I have never seen some legs moving so fast!:S

Imo it is always more informative to see a horse move (and one can't fault the idea behind capturing the gallops on DVD / online) but I think ons has watch the gallops 'in the flesh' (and then have a pretty good memory or keep accurate notes) to really gain any advantage.

I watched few gallops 'on-line' - have to say they pretty much looked mostly the same to me - but I may just have an 'untrained eye' - still I agree with Muhitman that the catalogue must be scrutinzed to find that 'special' one that nobody else (or very few) actually want.....not that I can afford anything at this stage :(
