Great run by Animal Kingdom - well done, Barry - but Wise Dan is exceptional. Did you hear that his dam is by Wolf Power?

European runners seemed to be all at sea on that turning track.

Thanks. I am very proud of him.

Jock said he almost went down rounding the first bend and that he had nowhere to go for half the stretch run.

Amazing horse in that distance and surface seem all the same to him.

Did you guys catch the short dokkie on Animal Kingdom on ESPN? It included an interview with Barry. Great that Barry & Co intend to keep him racing for a while instead of shuffling him off to stud asap. From what he showed here at the BC, he is really versatile and will give you lots of fun and excitement, as well as being a great on-the-track advertisement for Team Valor.

Just watched the replay now for the first time......bugger me what a run from Wise Dan but AK....WOW!!!

I think the jock did as best he could but not sure he rode the best rage. He seemed to chase him around the first bend and got squeezed out, he then worked his way back into the race and was traveling like he just walked out the paddock......

AK is a monster and if Wise Dan and AK ever meet over a 1 1/8 mile, I would like a front line seat to that contest!!

Good job Barry!
