Umlilo, just an observation, most of your posts are generally used as a platform for your struggle credentials and hardships. You were not alone however the future hinges on our children having a balanced outlook. One example of a marketing excercise is not a reflection of our countries values or outlook. Did your daughter ask why there were no Indian soccer players in the SA Team for the world cup? There are many examples however I was taught to look at people/human beings & not colour pre 1994 why would/should that change now? More importantly this is what i will teach my kids.

There are many things wrong in our country but also many things that are going right, it is up to each of us to positively influence our children for the future.

Yes, when I say that this is not what we strruggled for...... there are endorsements and agreement?

BTW: I am not the only one who was part of the struggle.... and I always clarify that!

What does a Grade 10 know about racism ? Unless it is a topic spoken at home.

@gg:

'What does a Grade 10 know about racism ? Unless it is a topic spoken at home.'

Where is there any mention of racism by my grand-daughter in my post besides the pun on horseracing/ism by me on the heading?

Are people such as you so biased and inverterate to twist words and then desecrate a child?

Shocking... at the least!

No wonder this country will not move forward; for every Malema, there's 100 like you!

Gladly.... I don't suffer from hang-ups being a teetoller! Lol!

Everyone gets uptight too quickly and we have lost our sense of humour!

I would go so far as to say:

'They don't want Indians around as they reek of last night's curry!'

Heh! heh!
