Nice effort Ziets, and I am sure all are thankful for your input... looking at the form in this race and taking a line through Cochineal I reckon Sky Pirate has Danish Blue stone cold ... the ONLY worry for me is the Striker factor. Danish Blue ran behind Cochineal in GOOD going when the latter was having his first run in 8 months.... and DB finished in a time of 92.41... Next time out Cochineal raced over the same C&D with the going posted as VERY SOFT on Formgrids... and Yielding on Sporting Post and Cochineal ran almost 2 seconds faster in a time of 90.65 ... with the debutant Sky Pirate finishing in 91.85. Bearing in mind the difference in the going, this makes Sky pirate a worthwhile punt at 13/2 .... especially as I anticipate the going to be down the inside in the early races where SP is drawn.

As Flash said on the thread where he lambasted poor old Vee .... Races are not run on paper... but if we d not use what is recorded ...How the fark are we upposed to pick winners ?? {hopes off pulpit... grabs greasy bacon, egg and tomato sandwich}

I agree with most of Ziets' analysis - except as per usual I think it is much more open than it first looks.

Maybe consider the following longer priced runners: Quick Striker in the 5th now gets the blinkers and must be included in larger P6's and JP's and in the same race Tiger Tales who comes from the Binda yard (2 wins last week) should also be competitive; in the 6th Rhythmic Roxy should not miss a place but most of the others have winning chances imo; in the 7th Gavin takes the ride on River Card, so could be the joker in the pack.

If you don't have the field in the 8th, you are taking a chance, and in the 9th I can;t find anything to beat the fav (if she stays)

I think big dividends are a sure thing - enjoy (tu)
