The azzman is a real gentleman. I once met him in the tunnel at scottsville at a midweek meeting. I greeted him. He stopped greeted and we had a short chat about his chances. He ws spot on and I made some good money on his double. Now that you can appreciate from a top trainer who is willing to chat to the public!
I once met Tony rivalland in a bank queue at scottsville. I asked him about his chance in the last on a horse called plaboy play....he said got a chance but no good thing! I bankered him in my psix. He duely arrived like a good thing! I got the psix....and what do know I am standinding in the queue with Ravi also cashing his ticket with the banker!
Azzman different class ....most natal trainers won't give you a second look!

Azzman really is good for the game. He always hypes up his runners in big races when interviewed. He is not shy to tell it as it is, & he's prepared to take egg on the face when it comes ! On most race days his horses are turned out TOPS , but especially on BIG RACE DAYS.
In my opinion potala P - OVERATED - i may be proved wrong, BUT NATIONAL CURRENCY - NOW THAT WAS A RACEHORSE WITH THE HOLLYWOOD LOOKS.

Tarry & Frad parted ways a few months back...... Tarry's LOSS.......... BIG TIME WIN FOR MIKE AZZIE, they're hotter than a red hot poker at the moment.
when a jock / trainer has a good thing going for a few months, i don't know why it never lasts.............. sure the jock is going to cock it up from time to time, but that's racing, that's life - we all make mistakes at work, big one's & small ones"s. deal with it, get over it, tomorrow is another day. Start afresh, no need to part ways over 1 poor ride, whether the stable backed it or not ( stable tends to forget about the OTHER 10 winners or so the jock brought home earlier in the month........... but 1 BAD RIDE & you can be fired ) This applies to most stables.
