I can't wait for SS to get back over 2000m his last win was terrific . If i was you i would raid kimberly for a pinnacle plate or two over 2200m while he is still on the boil.

1. Hibs, Dave... well done on the new high
-D
2. Elvis... I really don't think you need to feel down bud, as someone posted earlier (Frodo?) you never had a chance today and personally I would read nothing into that result. My fear would be the "going" because it would seem pointless running SS when it is acting in that way.
3. Ziets bud, I am very much one to forgive and forget and it is my personal opinion, which may be entirely wrong, but I thought you had made an effort in the last month or so to accept that maybe you started out here the wrong way and had changed your attitude somewhat. Certainly I don't hear much about the FB page anymore or "slating" of those that lose. But, maybe you are carrying a couple of chips on those broad shoulders because of the way you perceive people "treated" you initially. The same way others will still knock you because they maybe haven't seen the change I think I have. Whatever really, I think the bottom line is you are probably going to struggle to enjoy this forum now unless you wipe it all under the carpet and don't say anything contentious... at least for a while
The fact is, you have put one or two noses out of joint, understandably imo and you need to repair those. Personally, I would now be sorry to see you go, I think you have a lot to offer and probably do better than some people here give you credit for. I care not about your structure, whether you are the universe's best or worst tipster or what you do with your FB page... you want to charge people, go right ahead, it is everyone's personal choice as to whether they sign up or not. But, it would definitely be true to say that, as with others, if we select the same it does bolster my confidence somewhat. I also think you are one of the most knowledgeable here and I read your posts with interest. So, though I know it won't be your first instinct lol maybe it would be the best instinct to do an old foreigner rapidly losing his senses a favour and hang around... just do so a little quietly
with an occasional rendition of that favourite old musical of mine... Boom Boom, Ching Ching
4. Dave... Happy Christmas to you too bud
You mean that Pergamon Alter and My Chelski Girl double I gave you the other day was a loser??? You cheeky sh1t!!!!

INVIERNO got the highest speed rating I have ever given to a maiden winner. The rating of 109 was initially derived from the race time (cv calcs applied) and verified through ‘balancing’ the speed ratings of other ‘consistent runners’…in this case Hobb’s Flight, Dundee and Drove All Night.
Whilst the favourable draw and race tactics were probably significant for Invierno his performance and speed rating was incredible.
The cv (course variation) calculated for this race day was 0.6secs fast per 1000m, overall the fastest track since May.
Refering to a few other postings regarding track conditions…I have NOT been able to identify whether a fast or slow track benefits or hinders any runners at Vaal Sand.
For my ‘sins’ I went to Southall sand track in April then Crayford dog track last month. Have ‘dabbled’ with race times etc for both and the best advice I can give is ….bet on the water tankers, the inside draw always wins.
