Buy In Competition - Clairwood Sunday

Bump - the thread was falling of the page so i bumped it up to the top...


Why don`t you guys add some interest to the monthly comp and run a comp alongside the normal comp with the same rules but have an optional buyin?

Hello Magi,
Maybe you should promote these buy in competitions in advance.A week's notice should be fine and all buy ins should be deposited into a dedicated account by close of business on the Friday before the competition starts.This will afford us more time to enter and will result in a bigger pool imho.

Ah Ziets ,it all makes sense now...............
Let me explain..........when you pot R100 on a horse and it RETURNS R2.90 a win,you WIN R190 (not R290).........etc, etc ,etc.
Similarly R1,10 a place WINS R10 (not R110)

You therefore had a RETURN of R920............but a LOSS of R80!!!!

Go see the rules Magi posted wise knob......everyone know and can see i lost R80 .....they just asked to put the results for the guys that entered ....please stop being such a poepol
