Bushy i watched again and didn't see what glen did wrong, he was at least a horse length clear when he crossed over King Karls mount (soft ride by karl imo considering he had first run)....

his horse was drifting to the inside whilst gaining, and instead of positioning it straight he decided to let it go knowing that he'd smack into karl...ontop of this his whip was still in his right hand which, if anything would have made his horse go even further to the inside. if he wanted to make any effort to not cause a collision, the whip would have been changed to the inside and the horse rebalanced before gaining again

amazing that Karl's horse ran 152.32 last year as a three-year-old with major interference and this year 153.37 with only slight interference. The pace in the Cape is really odd
