King Of Pain - Well named. His jockey can count himself lucky that he rides in SA as he thrashed/flogged the horse relentlessly up the straight. If that isn't whip abuse then I don't know what is.

No doubt Capetown Noir is a top horse, but in all fairness he was receiving 1.5kgs from KOP. At level weights in the Guineas, i think KOP will have CTN's number again.
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

lets hope they both draw well because with the longer straight on the new track it wont be a race between them...ctn my guineas horse and peterfamilies derby lurker and win group race in natal next season...

after watching the race i now realise iv seen the winner of the cape guineas and i know there will be no seconds in the guineas.capetown noir will win the guineas.just hope they bring hangman down so that i can get a better price on capetown noir.
