I was at the course and witnessed the entire episode, as I backed the horse in question. Shocked to say the least - No one knew what to do, while the poor kid looked to be in a lot of pain. It was dealt with in a very "3rd world" manner.

You are correct, I phoned the owner Costa now and he said the horse is fine, just a couple of scratchs and will bounce back in about 3weeks

saw this incident live on TT.
From the camera angle, the horse reared, saw the jock slip and for a minute thought the horse was going to land on him.
The jock was extremly lucky. He fell the 1st time, and immediately got back in saddle. An experienced rider would have waited.blue silks, horse no 14? placing.
speedy recovery to this jock.
race 2 Summer Cup day also produced a nasty fall .
