Closest I have been to Turfontein was the Rand Stadium. Was not smelly at all

Rand Stadium, Senderwood Park, Balfour Park, Caledonian Stadium and Drihoek in Germiston were all iconic football grounds in your neck of the woods.

My favourite cricket ground was Berea Park in Pretoria, spent many a Saturday watching Northerns play there, in those days the Northerns side was made up of plenty Weermag guys, was always a great atmosphere....(tu)
