Well at least you find them humorous...
When was the last person killed by a football? It's never happened in my lifetime..
These new balls are ultra light and coated in plastic.
Back in the day when leather balls were used and they had stitching, when the ball got wet it was like
a medicine ball.Still can't recall anyone being killed by them.
It's typical Fergie, trying to detract from how poor he's team performed. It wasn't nice what he did,but hardly life threatening.
Trouble with United fans is they Beleive anything the grumpy git says..

Dave, was a stewpid thing to do and should have been red carded in my opinion. Pre-meditated and rather well executed :
... and I am certainly NOT a Man U fan.. I am not a soccer fan....period. Was flipping channels waiting for the cricket to start...

Agree, but life threatening is a bit over the top.

I think everyone agrees Fergie in his anger went over the top, as he is prone to do. Unlike Dave and Steve McTw@t though I don't think his comments had anything to do with detracting from United's performance. Anyone would think we didn't batter them senseless in the second half and were unlucky not to win, why detract? Fergie actually said it was a great second half performance but two points dropped. A fairly decent and sufficient summary for me. I think the point Fergie was making and those talking sense (imho) here seem to support, is that Williams, and what he did, both would seem to be completely brainless.

That's spot on Magi, you and Engles should always be waiting for the cricket..lol
Because you both struggle to grasp the footy..

Therre was nothing deliberate abt it. If it happened to another player from another side nothing would have been said or in fact there wouldn't be a thread abt it. Shame poor Van Persie

Thank god it wasn't Wayne Rooney, could you imagine how much hair he would have lost.
At least 20 grands worth.
It looked bad because RVPs gel caused a catatonic reaction,he was lucky the ball never stuck..

Brasss - when your head can talk rather than your ars* let us know. And for that matter, take your eyes out of the same place. If you don't see that was deliberate then you need a very good pair of glasses!
And. don't be blinded either by "fan support", I'd have said exactly the same if a United player had done it... its not about who you support its about what he did... though according to you he did nothing, twas all a big accident
Dave... don't you get bored of trying???
Bob... lol

It was a totally reckless action and one can see RVP's head jerked from the impact of the blow. His reaction illustrates how much the incident angered him and the Ashley man shud hang his head in shame.(td)
