I have restudied the card today and

1) I made a mistake to only pick African Alliance and Arctic Jet in my 3rd leg PA

a) African Allicance has is slightly suspect over 1200 being too far defo 1000 being a better distance
b) Arctic Jet ran unplaced previous run after a win as well - the form line on 21 Dec stood up with the rest of the results BUT the 5points penalty counted or the horse does not like the attention it gets after a win :S

I should have therefore added the favorite (other Snaith runner) Magnum Power and I would have had the PA

I could only find 2 horses in the whole 8 races that I could not explain the sudden improvement...

R1#12 Nicci's Victory... apart from the change in stables to Wiese 25 Sept already NOTHING showed me that there is improvement expected.
R2 # 7 Screw Top - was not expecting such a form improvement to win from Greeff/Byleveld

The rest IMHO is ok... IF we did our homework properly and better we should have included the rest...

This is where I farked my PA up.
I had Right of Admission in only because it was previously owned by my mate in Jhb.
Thought i was wasting money and I removed it from my selection.
Would have caught the PA 4 times full for R864.00

its easy to say we would have put the others in......did you check on all others that run in the same races, then you can have a opinion on every other horse on the card....not an attack on you loopy but 99,9% cant be wrong almost all the time? that place is haunted or the skelms hunting ground....

Just study harder... Improve and strive to be a better man...
That's what I would spend my efforts on... Not slagging today's results
since it would not change a thing... find the reason for each result and
add another skill to your armoury...

Can't have favourites winning every race, that would seem rigged.

After all its called gambling and not winning, sometimes its nt meant to be

My only mistake with the card, was chasing bad bets later in the day due to african alliance not placing in the place treble. Should have stopped with my small profit after getting gilly filly to place in the 1st at 7-4.
I didn't choose the #puntlife, the #puntlife chose me!

Was going to open a seperate thread.....he has been doing this for as long as his mug has appeared on TV.....a know it all that knows f@ckall.....he tries so hard to be eloquent and forgets the basics....he is far better behind a camera and doing the voice overs from a script....also a crying shame that he is sent to PE at big expense to question and one up the input from Gavin Venter and the presentation lands up being comical....TT product is in the dwang the cracks are showing up big time.....:S
