Started at The Lions at centre, Bulls made him a wing. Must say, I was very impressed with him in 2012. (tu)

According to Wednesday's Cape Times, due to a hooker crisis at the Stormers, Smit's name is being bandied about as a possible short-term solution to the Cape side's No 2 woes.

Ryperd, I had to think a while, and it is not APRIL....the Stormers had a abundance of hookers, they even played flank. Where have they gone?

Deon Fourie is fit and well, but Tiaan Liebenberg is still recovering from a back injury and the exciting 21-year-old star Scarra Ntubeni was forced to undergo surgery on his shoulder on Tuesday, and is expected to be out of action for up to three months.

So, they are a bit thin in the hooker department

Lol ... Shrek the problem is last season they were always a guaranteed BANKER TO LOOSE in our atc's ... this season we have to think a bit harder....()
